I am speechless, and I think you know why.

As usual, you articulate yourself so beautifully. Thank you for always sharing your experiences, and I hope your words resonate with the LGBTQI+ communities around the world. You know the impact you made with me - back in the 80s. You are spot on when said being gay then was 'risky' and could cost you something. I'm blessed that I am where I am today - and it is because I had (have) wonderful friends like you.

Thank you, Andy.

Love it! I grew up gay in the 60s and it was very tricky back then.

Yes... I have heard the stories!

This one really hot home, Andy. My parents divorced when I was 4 after my father told my mother he was "homosexual" (As a Mormon in 1964, she had to look it up in the dictionary.) My oldest brother was gay, and died of AIDS in those terrifying early days. And my youngest brother committed suicide at 39, in despair about his gender identity that never fit. I am grateful for all the progress over the years, but it has been brutally slow and painful and not enough. I hope your friend fully embraces who he is! ❤️
